ACFO1 Doris Lamptey then advised the General public especially those in the Tema region and its environs to take their fire safety measures seriously because Tema is an industrial hub and “anytime there’s an outbreak of fire in Tema is a serious one so I appeal to factories and companies to take their fire safety measures serious and keep training their staff updated all the time to avoid the such occurrence and I can say due to our regular public education on fire safety fire outbreak has reduced as compare to the previous years”

The chairman of the Ghana National Service Council who doubles as a member of parliament for the Asante-Akim Central constituency Hon Kwame Ayimadu Antwi applauds the initiative by the command for putting up such an ultra-modern edifice without support from the government and has asked other commands to emulate the same from the Tema region because the government resources are limited which can’t do everything at the same time.
