20 year old boy sentenced to 3 days in prison by Yendi Circuit court judge

Court Accounts officer Fails To Account For ¢18K Paid For Bailiff Services – A-G

On the 15 /09/2022 convict was remandered and on Tuesday, 20/09/2022 , the Judge of Yendi circuit court, lawyer. Anthony Aduku Aidoo sentenced Mr. Baba Mohammed for 3 days.

Mr. Anthony ordered,”by court, the convict is a young person who has just come in conflict with the law unfortunately, he is conflicted for a term of second degree felony which the offender ought to be published severely to show deterrent of society of the offender threatened someone’s life.

He has showed a lot of remorse and counsel being a friend of this court and an officer of this court has stood in on behalf of the accused person herein to plead for another this young offender.

In the circumstance, “I here by sentence the accused person to serve 3 days in prison to serve as deterrent to others that they are likely to face stiffer punishment should any commit such an offense in the future”.

“He is ordered to go to the radio station after serving his sentence to apologize to all persons affected and to the society as a whole promising not to do that again. I here by ordered.”
