President Akufo-Addo begins 2-day tour of Central Region today

President Akufo-Addo will from today, Friday, September 2, 2022, begin a tour of the Central Region.

His visit will take him to constituencies including, Awutu Senya East, Awutu Senya West, Gomoa East, Gomoa Central, Mfantseman, Komenda Edina Eguafo Abrem, and Cape Coat Municipalities.

The President will inspect an ongoing Court Complex building at Kasoa in the Awutu Senya East District of the Central Region after paying a courtesy call on the Paramount Chief of Awutu Bereku.

He will also cut sod for the construction of the Kasoa to Awutu Bawjiase Road.

The President is scheduled to commission a Gas Cylinder Factory under 1D1F at Awutu Chochoe and also commission a Lubricant Factory Under 1D1F at Gomoa Fetteh in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.

He will then inspect ongoing Agenda 111 projects at Gomoa Afransi in the Gomoa Central District and then meet all the MMDCEs, Regional Executives, and all Constituency Chairmen of the New Patriotic Party at Cape Coast.

On Saturday September 3, he will inspect the Komenda Suger Factory all in the Komenda Edina Eguafo Abrem Municipality.

He is expected to inspect an ongoing Construction of a Fishing Harbour at Elmina and ongoing Infectious Disease Center at Cape Coast Teaching Hospital.

President Akufo-Addo will later commission the Central Regional House of Chiefs Building at Cape Coast and then grace the Ogua Afehye festival durbar.
