Accra: Gunshot Fired As Police Clash With Angry Drivers At Shiashie

Accra: Gunshot Fired As Police Clash With Angry Drivers At Shiashie
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

A gunshot was fired when a team of policemen from the Ghana Police Service came face to face with angry drivers at Shiashie.

In a video shared by UTV, the angry drivers were seen resisting an attempt by the police to move them.

The police decided to use brutal force to push their way which was met with an equal barricade of resistance by the drivers.

One of the police officers decided to use force since persuasion had failed and the drivers were in a tango with them.

He fired his gun to dispel the angry drivers who stood their ground regardless.

The action of the police officer ties into the disturbances recorded at Ejura months ago where a military man was seen firing into a mob.
