Private Legal Practitioner Seeks Interpretation At The Supreme Court Over 2022 Budget ‘Brouhaha’
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Ace broadcaster and a Lawyer, Richard Dela  Sky has filed two writs at the Supreme Court challenging the parliamentary decisions of November 26 and 30, 2021.

The NDC caucus, on 26th November 2021, after a majority boycott, unanimously voted to reject the 2022 budget as presented by the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta.

Subsequently, on Tuesday  30th November 2021, the NPP caucus, after a minority boycott also voted to overrule the earlier decision by the minority caucus and adopted the budget which had earlier been rejected.

However, Mr. Richard Sky is praying the Supreme Court to declare those two decisions as unconstitutional.
