“Nana Ampadu Died Because The Doctor Who Was Supposed To Treat Him Was Sleeping”— Akosua Agyapong

Nana Ampedu d!ed because the doctor was sleeping, Akosua Agyapong has said in an interview.

This morning, it was reported that Legendary Highlife musician Nana Kwame Ampadu has passed on at  aged 76.

He is said to have died today at his residence in Akweteyman in the Greater Accra Region.

The cause of his death is yet to be discovered but Akosua Agyapong says the hospital played a major in his death.

According to her, the hospital to which they first rushed Nana Ampadu refused to treat him, claiming that the doctor was asleep.

In an interview, Akosua Agyapong indicated that the first hospital Nana Ampadu was rushed to in Achimota did not pay attention to him.

“When the sick musician arrived at the hospital on Tuesday morning, they were told the doctor was sleeping, so he had to be rushed to the University of Ghana Medical Centre in Legon, where doctors did their best, but he died”, She said.
