Data Collection For 2021 PHC Has Officially Ended- GSS

The Ghana Statistical Service (GSS) has announced that the 2021 Population and Housing Census (PHC) have ended officially.

According to GSS, all official 2021 Population and Housing Census (PHC) paraphernalia for field officers used during the data collection exercise are no longer valid for official use.

In a statement sighted by PLAN B FM, it read “Effective immediately, all official 2021 PHC paraphemalia for field Officers including the blue census T-Shirts, blue census reflective jackets, white census caps, and ID cards, used during the data collection are no longer valid for official use”

It further explained that as such, field officers are no longer visiting households and institutions to collect information on the residents.

Concluding the statement, the  Ghana Statistical Service expressed their appreciation to the  public for their kind support and cooperation in achieving the goal of the exercise.
