A 67-year-old woman has been accused of hiring an assassin to kill her children over their inheritance.

Last week, police in Krasnoyarsk, Russia’s second-largest city in Siberia, detained the 67-year-old woman.

It is said that she gave the go-ahead to have her son and two daughters killed in order for her to take over the family’s property as the sole owner.

She told a friend about her plan, who then assisted her in finding an assassin. The assassin was subsequently paid 80,000, or little more than £810, to do the task.

Three plain-clothes cops detained the retiree outside her home last week, according to video published on Telegram by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Do you comprehend the grounds for your detention? She is handcuffed and one of them asks her on the street.

“No,” the lady responds in astonishment.

On the day the hired murderer was meant to take one of her kids out, her claimed plan was made public.

Police have released images of the large sums of cash that she is said to have taken out to pay for the item.

Employees of the criminal investigative division of the Krasnoyarskoye Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia apprehended a suspect in organizing the murder of her children, according to a statement from the ministry.

“Operations received information that a resident of the regional center, born in 1956, wanted to continue being the sole owner of real estate and thus ordered the murder of her son, born in 1978, and daughters, born in 1974.”
