Obed Makafui

A young man known as George Boateng in a Facebook post has alleged that his sister was murdered at a hotel in Takoradi.

According to him, his sister who worked with an Oil Company lodged at a hotel in the Western Regional capital, Takoradi where they were on a work trip.

However, she was murdered and dumped in the hotel’s swimming pool on the dawn of June 8, 2024.

No arrest has since been made as the said hotel claims that their CCTV wasn’t functioning at the time.

His post read “My lil sis checked in @chrislordpalacehotel in Anaji, Takoradi on 7th June 2024 with her boss and company driver. She was murdered n dumped into the hotel’s swimming pool at dawn on 8th June 2024. The police aren’t telling the family anything not even an arrest. Hotel claims CCTV isn’t functioning. We seek #justice for Lois Abena Koranteng (A 24yr petroleum engineering graduate of KNUST)”.
