Veteran Actor, King Aboagye Brenya Passes On At Age 82

King Aboagye Brenya, a well-known Ghanaian actor, has died.

He died on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at the County Hospital at Abrepo in Kumasi, according to his relatives, after being transported to the institution for treatment.

The 82-year-old has been unable to work for the previous six years and has thus been absent from the Ghanaian film industry.

He left nine children and a wife behind.

King Aboagye Brenya split his time between acting and working at the Kumasi Cultural Centre when he was younger.

He appeared in a number of Ghanaian and Nigerian films.
