Parts of a Villaggio apartment building under construction in Accra’s Airport Residential Area have collapsed amid heavy winds that preceded rainfall on Wednesday.
The incident occurred around midday, sending sections of the building and construction materials falling from the upper floors.
The collapse caused panic among passers-by and residents in the area as debris fell from the structure.
