Three-year-old Girl Found Dead In A Stream After Going Missing For Days

10 JHS Students Drown In Oti River While Returning From Headmaster’s Farm

Parents, family, and residents of Attakrom, a suburb of Bibiani in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region, are demanding justice following the death of their 3-year-old daughter.

The minor, Vincentia Kyeremeh, had been declared missing for several days.

The family disclosed that the KG 1 pupil went missing, and for some days, they had searched for her without any success.

They later contracted a printing press to print posters announcing that the minor was missing. However, news later reached them that the lifeless body of Vincentia Kyeremeh had been found in a stream in the area.

According to them, they had searched for the minor in the same river and did not find her, but later, the body was found in the stream.

The uncle, Daniel Donkor, revealed that “the mother called me Saturday that the little girl had still not been found.

“We went to the stream to look for her because we had been told she was there, but we didn’t find her. So, we went to a printing press and printed some posters to paste them in the area where our daughter was missing.

“But while at the printing press, we received a call informing us that our daughter had been found in the stream, dead and in a decomposing state.

“This is strange because we had gone to the riverside to search for her, but we did not see her, and all of a sudden, the body is found in the river. Did someone kill the little girl and dump her body in the river, or did she drown? This is shocking, and we want the police to investigate.”

Another relative stated, “We are requesting that the police conduct a thorough investigation into the matter. We went to the stream, swam in it, and searched for her, but our efforts were futile, and then the body was discovered. We want the police to look into the matter and find out who killed our daughter.”
