A three-year-old boy has been electrocuted to death during a funeral at Gomoa Nyanyano in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.

The toddler, according to reports, was electrocuted by an electrical cable used to connect power from a house meter to a public address(PA) system.

In an interview with Accra based Adom FM, the Assemblyman for Upper Nyanyano Electoral Area, Isaac Qunash, revealed that part of the live wire was exposed, but the DJ failed to tape it.

The boy who was playing around the PA system unknowingly stepped on the cable.

Mr. Qunash said the boy was rushed to the Gomoa Nyanyano Health Center and was referred to another facility but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
