Richard Jakpa, an accused standing trial along with Minority Leader Cassiel Ato Forson has dared the state to send assassins to kill him.

The Ex Military man says any such mission must be led by professionals otherwise he will finish them.

The Ex military officer turned businessman is on trial for allegedly causing financial loss to the state.

Last week he released a tape in which the Attorney General is heard allegedly scheming to have Jakpa side with the state to prosecute And jail Cassiel Ato Forson.

Reacting to fears for his life after the tape leak, Jakpa said he is well-trained for threats.

“I’m a governor in the jungle, so I’m not worried about the jungle business. I’m okay in the jungle. They can try; if they succeed, fine, but they must make sure they come up with professionals…. If they bring amateurs, it will be a death sentence for them. But they should be bringing professionals if they really want to come after me. That is all,” he said.
