The unspoken pain of family sabotage: Senior pastor breaks silence

The unspoken pain of family sabotage: Senior pastor breaks silence
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Rev. Mrs. Christiana Otoo Lartey, Senior Pastor of the Assemblies of God’s Kingdom Chapel, has spoken out about the devastating effects of family sabotage, stating that the pain it causes is like no other.

In an interview with Nana Asabea on Plan B FM’s Nyansapɔ Fie show, Rev. Mrs. Otoo Lartey emphasized that people can prevent their “enemies” from sabotaging them by building a wall around themselves. However, she noted that these “enemies” are often close relatives or friends who know one’s secrets, making it difficult to protect oneself.

“It’s unbearable to share your intimate secrets with someone you trust, like a prayer partner, spouse, or religious leader, only to have them use that information to blackmail and sabotage you,” she said. “It’s a very disheartening experience.”

Rev. Mrs. Otoo Lartey further warned that some individuals even use personal phone conversations to blackmail and sabotage others, which can have severe consequences, including the potential collapse of the church if left unchecked.

Renowned Counsellor and CEO of Kess Millinery and Beads, Lady Elizabeth Kesewaa Nortey, described such individuals as “schemers” who deliberately use personal information, including prayer topics, to blackmail and sabotage others, especially those close to them.

She urged the public to be cautious when forming friendships, warning against getting entangled with people who harbour malicious intentions.

Rev. Michael Yaw Banson, Resident Pastor of Rehoboth Holyfire Revival Ministries International, attributed such acts to satanic influence, urging business owners to be vigilant and discerning. He cautioned against encouraging subordinates who regularly report their colleagues, as this can be a tactic of seductive spirits seeking to sabotage and collapse businesses.

”These subordinates have not been assigned to report on their colleagues, so bosses should not entertain such actions,” he advised, emphasizing the importance of prayerfulness and awareness in preventing such destructive dynamics.
