The Youth President of Tema West, Nicholas Euros, has publicly expressed dissatisfaction with the leadership of the Member of Parliament for Tema West, Lawyer James Enu, citing growing frustration and disillusionment among young people in the constituency.
In an open letter addressed to the MP and shared on social media, Euros stated that many youths in the area feel neglected and emotionally drained due to what he described as the current state of affairs in the constituency.
According to him, the challenges facing the youth have created a deep sense of disenchantment, making it increasingly difficult for many supporters to continue backing the MP as they did during the election campaign.
Euros further noted that the same enthusiasm and energy that were invested in campaigning for Lawyer James Enu could be mobilized to demand change if the concerns of the youth continue to be ignored.
“The youth look to me for guidance, and it is my responsibility to voice their sentiments,” he wrote.
He called on the MP to engage with the youth, understand their concerns, and work collaboratively towards solutions that would restore hope and unity within the community.
In a strongly worded conclusion, Euros hinted at possible political repercussions ahead of the next general elections, stating, “2028 is just here,” suggesting that the electorate could hold leaders accountable at the polls if their grievances remain unaddressed.
