Newly appointed Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), of the Tema West Municipal Assembly Felicia Attipoe has promised to embark on agenda 111 hospital project for the people of Tema West.

According to her, her utmost priority is to provide quality healthcare for Tema West and its environs.

In an interview on Plan B FM’s ‘Ebaanosen’ with Ohene Kinnah, Madam Felicia Attipoe said  Tema West residents deserve a befitting health facility.

“We have a lot of infrastructures in the system, my biggest priority is to get the people  agenda 111 hospital project. Thank God we’ve secured a land to start immediately; Tema West has been starved of a standardized hospital for so long. We had to fall on General Hospital, LEKMA Hospital and the Polyclinics. So that is the infrastructure we want to put up immediately” She remarked

She also promised to tackle the  persistent and growing threat from floods, exacerbated by increasingly erratic rainfall patterns, increased urbanisation, poor sanitation and drainage infrastructure and weak regulatory enforcement in respect of sanitation, drainage and waste management. She advised residents not to build on waterways which causes major flooding in the area.
