Tema: Residents at site 14 call on ECG to fix deteriorated electrical cables

Tema: Residents at site 14 call on ECG to fix deteriorated electrical cables

Some Residents at Community 1 site 14 in the Padmore electoral area have appealed to the Electricity Company of Ghana ECG to come to their aid and fix their faulty electricity cables to avoid rampant power outages.

Speaking to our reporter Obiri Fentemfrem on Plan B FM’s morning show NKOSUONSEM, hosted by Obidehye Kofi Sekyi, some residents told Obiri Fentemfrem that, the problem started on the 14th of March 2024 but all attempts  to get ECG to fix the issue have proved futile.

They later informed the Assemblyman about it and has promised to get the ECG to fix the situation.

“Because of the faulty cables, our lights are off and today and Monday are holidays and it is a weekend too, how are we going to get light for our business, all the food in our fridges will spoil if the light is not fixed immediately”

Our reporter went to the ECG office to verify what might be delaying them from fixing the cables but no one was in the office at the time he got to the ECG around 8:35 am on Friday.
