The Tema Parents’ Association School (TEPAS) has brought its 62nd Intersectional Sports Competition to a thrilling close, unveiling a new wave of talented young athletes. The three-day event, which took place from Monday, October 20 to Wednesday, October 22, 2025, featured a range of athletic events, including sprint, middle and distance events, high jump, and javelin throws.

According to Solomon D. Kugre, the school’s Physical Education Officer, the competition aimed to identify and nurture raw talents, with scouts and coaches in attendance. The event was divided into four departments: pre-school, primary, upper primary, and junior high school.

In her closing remarks, Headmistress Madam Docia Abakosoyo Addison commended the students on their exceptional display of sportsmanship and dedication to the sporting activities. The Green section emerged victorious in the female category, while the Blue section dominated the male category. The Yellow section took home the overall best position for both boys and girls.

This year’s competition promises to be a launching pad for these young athletes to take their talents to the next level, with some students already making waves in international competitions.
