The Executive of the Ghana National Petroleum Tanker Drivers Union has given the National Petroleum Authority’s (NPA) board of directors a two-week ultimatum to approve their conditions of service or face their wrath.
Speaking on plan B FM’s late afternoon show EBAANOSEN hosted by Ohene Kinnah, the chairman said, they would take action against the NPA following the expiration of the two-week window.
According to the Mr. Nyaunu, the National Petroleum Authority formed a committee on the condition of service for Drivers and Drivers’ Assistance.
He said, they released a statement on Friday, April 26, calling on the NPA board to approve the document.
“However, the Board of Directors National Petroleum Authority has refused to approve its implementation.
“We are therefore giving the Authority (2) two weeks to approve the document, failure to do so, may bring up actions that will not be favourable to all, and they (NPA) will be blamed for it,” it warned.
