State broadcaster accuses deputy information minister of illegally demolishing its bungalows at Weija

Ghana’s state broadcaster, the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC), has accused the Deputy Minister of Information, Sylvester Tetteh, of illegally demolishing its bungalows at Weija.

In a series of posts shared on its official handle, GTV Ghana, on Thursday, November 21, 2024, the media house asked the Ghana Police Service to intervene in the matter and stop the illegal demolition. “Police stop Illegal Demolition of GBC Bungalows at Weija by Deputy Minister of Information, @SlyTettehBNA,” one of the posts reads.

This is the Deputy Minister for Information and MP for Bortianor Ngleshie Amanfro, Hon.
