Special Prosecutor declares GES staff wanted for corruption

The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has declared Derrick Asomaning, a 37-year-old staff member of the Ghana Education Service (GES), wanted in connection with an ongoing investigation into corruption and related offenses. Asomaning is suspected of being involved in corruption, bribery, and the abuse of public office for profit. He is also accused of aiding and abetting others in committing similar offenses.

Asomaning, who works at the Tano South District, was last seen in that region. The OSP has indicated that he may be located in the Northern or Oti Regions. He is described as having dark skin, brown eyes, black hair, and standing at a height of 75cm. He is known to associate with an individual named Anthony Gyasi.

The OSP has urged the public to assist in locating Derrick Asomaning by reporting any information about his whereabouts. The OSP has assured the public that it will continue to uphold due process in the ongoing investigations.
