Shortage of Bread: Businesses To Import from Kumasi, Other Regions

has necessitated the need to import from Kumasi and other parts of the Country.

Bread will begin coming into the region but at a slightly higher price from 10th of February 2022 till the strike is over. Others have resorted to bread fruit ‘bofrot’ and biscuits in place of bread.

Meanwhile bakers have blamed their actions on the high price of Baking floor in the Township due to monopoly of distribution.
