NPP Tema Central Communications Officer, Richard Anning has called on the government and relevant authorities to ensure a fair and level playing field for all political parties to enable them to compete fairly in Ghana’s democratic process.

Speaking on Plan B FM’s Nkosuonsem, hosted by Obidehyie Kofi Sekyi, Richard Anning stressed the need for fairness in the conduct of political activities, noting that no party should be given an undue advantage over others.

He stated that the democratic process must be conducted in a manner that allows all political parties to participate freely and fairly, without manipulation or unfair treatment.

According to him, political competition should be based on fairness, with every party given an equal opportunity to carry out its activities and present itself to the electorate.

Richard Anning further emphasised that the outcome of an election should be accepted as legitimate when all parties have been given a fair opportunity to compete.

He cautioned against manipulating the political process, insisting that Ghana’s democratic system must provide a level playing field for all parties to contest elections fairly.
