Rev. Benjamin Boateng, Head Pastor of Assemblies of God Cornerstone Family Chapel, has revealed that consulting with familiar spirits is God’s greatest aversion and has urged all to desist from such practices.
Speaking in an interview on Plan B FM’s Nyamesom Mmerɛ show with host Odiamono Kwaku Gyimah, Rev. Boateng referenced Deuteronomy 18:10-12, warning against Christians who seek revelations from familiar spirits, wizards, or necromancers.
“No ghost speaks to a prophet, but the voice of God only,” he emphasised.
“It is never true that a ghost speaks to a prophet or the prophet hears the voice of the ghost; rather, God reveals the mystery.”
Meanwhile, Prophet Ebenezer Dunamis, Head Pastor of Army of God Revival Centre, shared his perspective on life after death, stating that it is determined by one’s actions on earth.
He added that heaven and hell are real, although not yet functional, and that some people’s spirits are being tormented based on their lives lived.
Prophet Isaac Asante, Leader of Rema Prayer Ministry, warned that setting foot in a charmer’s or consulter with familiar spirits’ place alone takes something precious from you.
He revealed his personal experience with ghosts in Agona Swedru and Tema, highlighting the reality of ghostly existence and the need for special spiritual interventions.
