Rev. Banson Warns: “Not All Confessions Are Beneficial”

“Hasty Decisions Rarely End Well” – Rehoboth Pastor Warns

Rev. Michael Yaoo Banson, Resident Pastor of Rehoboth Holyfire Revival Ministries International, has cautioned individuals to exercise prudence when making confessions, particularly those that could potentially harm workplace relationships or sow discord.

In a recent interview with Nana Asabea on Plan B FM’s “Nyansapo Fie” programme, Rev. Banson underscored the significance of authentic confession coupled with a sense of responsibility.

“Confessing to someone who is oblivious to the matter can have repercussions,” Rev. Banson pointed out. “Whilst some confessions may lead to forgiveness and restored trust, others might irrevocably damage trust.”

Rev. Banson encouraged individuals to thoughtfully ponder which confessions are necessary, as some may not be beneficial to share. He stressed that genuine repentance entails a commitment to change and not revisiting past transgressions or thoughts.

“Crocodile tears won’t precipitate transformation,” he emphasised, highlighting the need for heartfelt repentance rather than mere emotional displays.
