Pep Guardiola hails Antoine Semenyo as a “top-class” signing

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola says Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo is an incredible signing after the Ghanaian player delivered another impressive performance for the Sky Blues. (Scroll down to watch Antoine Semenyo’s goal against Fulham)

Semenyo scored and provided an assist in Man City’s 3-0 win over Fulham in the English Premier League with Semenyo’s goal being his fifth since joining the club from AFC Bournemouth.

In eight games in all competitions, the Black Stars player has seven goal contributions and has been a key figure in Pep Guardiola’s side.

Speaking after the game, Semenyo said his fine start to life at Man City is a “fairytale” while his manager Pep Guardiola stated to the TNT Sports that, (Click highlighted text to read full story)

“(He’s scoring) A lot of goals, having the sense (feel) for the second balls in the box but it’s not just that; the pace, the intensity,…he’s a top top (player).”

“Like I said, the club made incredible signings in Marc (Guehi) and Antoine (Semenyo).”
