NPP’s Tamakloe Accuses NDC of Corruption Despite ORAL Gains

The Chairman of Operations for the (ORAL), Hon. Sam Okudzeto Ablakwa, has stressed that ORAL remains a permanent structure in Ghana’s governance system. According to him, there is a misconception that ORAL operations end once the Attorney General assumes office.

Hon. Ablakwa explained that the initiative is anchored in the NDC manifesto and has already yielded significant results, including GH¢20.49 billion recovered from 36 cases.

But in reaction, Mr. Tamakloe (T.K), a communicator for the NPP in the Tema West Constituency, criticized the NDC for failing to fulfill its promises on corruption and governance.

He argued that the NDC leadership had previously claimed to know where loopholes in the system existed but are now presiding over what he described as “deals and corruption.”

“This only shows how dishonest they are,” T.K said. “The same people who promised to deliver are today the ones cutting deals. Look at the level of corruption happening under this government. I am not surprised.”

Tamakloe further referenced the recent admission by the NDC General Secretary that the party has not delivered as promised, insisting that it exposes the government’s failures and lack of commitment to transparency.
