condemned the Vice Chairman’s remarks, describing them as dangerous and a direct threat to national peace and stability. To curb the escalating situation, the police have implemented measures including joint patrols, intelligence-led operations, and deploying security personnel at critical state facilities.Additionally, a special investigative team has been formed to analyze video evidence, identify offenders, and ensure accountability. So far, 123 suspects have been arrested in connection with post-election violence, with many being processed for court.
The police have cautioned the public against engaging in acts of violence, warning that offenders will be held accountable under the law.
