NPP came to make the middle class poorer and their families richer-Selorm Branttie

NPP came to make the middle class poorer and their families richer-Selorm Branttie
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

A Vice President of Policy Think Tank, IMANI Africa, Selorm Branttie is of the view that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) after they have been brought to power by the middle class obliterated the middle class.

They did this by building a crony economy for themselves and their family members.

Making his position known in a post shared via social media, he indicated that after reducing the ability of the middle class to create capital, build jobs and increase wealth, the NPP now wants their votes based on populist policies and distribution of free stuff to people thy have made poorer.

His post expressing his disappointment read “8 years ago, a burgeoning middle class, wanting to be a permanent fixture on our economic landscape, pushed for a center right party with the belief that they understood what it took to build an economy to make them resilient.
