Murdered Mfantseman MP To Be Buried On Nov. 28

The final funeral rites and burial of the murdered Member of Parliament for Mfantseman Hon Ekow Quansah Hayford have been scheduled for Saturday, November 28, 2020.

The Head of the Quansah Hayford family made the announcement at the one-week observation of his passing which is currently underway at Mankessim in the Central Region.

The solemn event is being attended by Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, host of government appointees and senior members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

The affable lawmaker was shot dead by unidentified gunmen while returning from a campaign at Nkusukum on the Mankessim-Abeadze Duadze road on Friday 9th October 2020 around 1:00am.

The body is being kept at the Saltpond Hospital Mortuary while police investigation continues.
