A 38 years old man, Kwasi Nimako has finally been arrested by the Police for beating up his father mercilessly and threatening to kill him.

According to her sister, Kisiwaa, Kwesi has constantly been fighting with his father over a cocoa farm.

He had threatened his father several times to kill him for him to take over his cocoa farm. Whenever he acts in such a manner, he flees from the town and goes to hide in a cottage.

This made it difficult for the Police to arrest him. On this faithful occasion, he started a fight with his father he finished cooking for him.

He used huge wood and beat his father up severely. He inflicted wounds on him that looked as if he had used a cutlass. The old man bled profusely and was taken to the hospital in Bogoso. He was later referred to the Wassa Akropong Government Hospital.

Some residents hinted to the Bogoso police that Kwesi was hiding behind a building and the Police made the arrest. It was speculated in the town that Kwesi does take in Wee and may have resulted in such behaviour towards his father. Opanyin Amoaning sustained a broken leg and wounds on his hand.
