Local coaches will struggle to manage Black Stars under Kurt – Kwamens

AFCON 2023: Mozambique 2-2 Ghana – Black Stars set for exit after late collapse

Sports Journalist, Bernard Mensah also known as Kwamens says no Ghanaian coach will thrive under this current football administration.

The four-time African champions are in search of a new coach following the team’s abysmal performance that led to their early exit from the Africa Cup Of Nations in Ivory Coast.

There is public clamour for a total overhaul of the football ecosystem in the country.

The GFA has set up a committee to look for a replacement for Chris Hughton after he was sacked for non performance. Reports indicate that former Asante Kotoko coach Maxwell Konadu has applied for the vacant Black Stars job.

Speaking on Plan B FM afternoon Sports show dubbed “Kawadwen” Kwamens believes that no   local  coach can handle the Black Stars because of incessant interference from the handlers of Ghana football.

“For me, we don’t have any local coach that can handle the Black Stars under this regime. The current system we have at the FA is not the best. No local coach will thrive under this corrupt system in our football” he opined.
