The Ghana Education Service has granted Senior High School students who are 18 years of age and older four days to participate in the upcoming limited voter registration exercise.

The exercise is scheduled to commence on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, and end on Monday, May 27, 2024.

According to the Electoral Commission, the exercise will be conducted at its district offices and difficult-to-access electoral areas across the country.

“The students have been granted four days off from campus, effective, Tuesday, May 7, 2024, to Friday, May 10, 2024, to partake in the exercise in line with the constitutional right of all Ghanaian citizens to exercise their franchise,” a statement by Mr Prince C. Agyemang-Duah, acting Director of Schools and Instruction Division, said.
