LGBTQI+: We are all not in support; so why the delay in passing it – Man of God to MPs

The NPP Government Have Proven Their Loyalty To LGBTQI+ Community – Isaac Boamah
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

The head of the Council of God church Rev. John Osei Ofori has urged the Members of Parliament to facilitate the passage of the Anti-LGBTQ+ bill because Christians, Muslims, and traditionalists are all against it.

Speaking to Ohene Kinnah on Plan B FM’s late afternoon show EBAANOSEN, Rev. Osei stressed that, the Clergy will fast and pray for the defeat of all parliamentarians in the 2024 general elections if they don’t pass the bill into law.

“I don’t understand why President Akufo Addo can’t be bold to make his stance clear on this abominable act, or is it because of his continuous begging for support from the white? you claim you are a Christian, and wanted to build a national cathedral for God, but you can’t kick against LGBTQI+” he fumed.

He stated’’, if indeed the MPs are serious, they can pass the bill before we enter into 2024. This bill has been long overdue and future generations won’t forgive this new crop of MPs if they refuse to pass it, however, I will charge the leadership of the house, the clergy, and other stakeholders to join hands to facilitate the passage of the bill into law”.
