Lady Marilyn Abeka-Daniels, an adjunct lecturer at the University of Media, Arts and Communication, Institute of Journalism (UNIMAC-IJ), has advised individuals to draw valuable lessons from the mistakes and failures of others who took hasty decisions.
Speaking on Plan B FM’s popular social and lifestyle programme, Nyansapɔ Fie, hosted by Nana Asabea, she emphasised that life’s challenges are a training ground for growth.
“As long as you have food, clothing, and shelter, never look at the pain you’re going through now as nothing is permanent so as not to take hasty decisions,” she counselled.
“Whatever situation one finds themselves, they should not forget the popular adage ‘this too shall pass’ and therefore try as much as possible to learn from the mistakes, failures, and regrets of others.”
Lady Abeka-Daniels urged her audience to use others’ experiences as a guide, ensuring they don’t fall into similar pitfalls.
She stressed that life’s ups and downs are essential for personal development, and learning from others can help individuals navigate their own paths more wisely.
