Political Science Lecturer at the University of Ghana, Ransford Gyampo, has described the last-minute commissioning being done by the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, as punishable insults to voter intelligence.

Ransford Gyampo is of the firm opinion that the government shouldn’t have waited until the dying embers of their tenure to commission projects for the people of Ghana.

The Political Scientist cited Kufour in 2008 when he reduced the price of fuel and John Dramani Mahama’s commissioning of projects in the dying days of his tenure to back his claims.

His post, which was shared via social media, read, “JAK reduced fuel prices during the 2008 runoff.
