Johnson Akuamoah Asiedu appointed Auditor-General

President Akufo-Addo has appointed the acting Auditor-General, Johnson Akuamoah Asiedu, as the substantive Auditor-General.

Mr Asiedu’s appointment takes retrospective effect from August 27, 2021.

President Akufo-Addo confirmed Mr Asiedu’s appointment in a letter dated September 7, 2021, which was signed by the Chief of staff, Madam Akosua Frema Osei-Opare.

Mr Asiedu took over as the Acting Auditor-General when his immediate past boss, Mr Daniel Yaw Domelevo, retired from office as the Auditor-General on June 1, 2020.
