A prime suspect in the Ahmed Hussein-Suale murder case, Daniel Owusu Koranteng, is expected to re-appear in court on April 17, 2025.

Following an appearance on April 2, 2025 at the Madina District Court, the prosecutor charged Daniel Owusu Koranteng with abetment and murder.

The police prosecution, led by Chief Inspector Nana Afua Bamfo, told the court they wanted to amend the initial charges and withdrew them to be substituted with new charges (abetment and murder).

The prosecution, in court, said that Daniel Owusu Koranteng led two alleged culprits, who are currently at large, to the home of Ahmed Hussein-Suale, where he was murdered, according to a mynewsgh.com report.

The prosecution, providing details of the case in court, indicated that Hussein-Suale confirmed that Daniel Owusu Koranteng leaked his photos to be published on Net 2 Television.

Meanwhile, a plea by lawyers of Daniel Owusu Koranteng to secure bail for their client who has been in custody since March 12, was denied.

Presiding judge, Susan Nyarkotey, remanded Daniel Owusu Koranteng and is he expected to reappear before the court on April 17.
