Hold on to your nationwide strike if your demands are not met – Crusaders against corruption to Organized Labour
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Organised Labour has issued a statement calling for a nationwide strike against illegal mining ‘galamsey’ due to the lack of response from the government.

The Chief Crusader for the Crusaders Against Corruption, Emmanuel Wilson Junior is calling on Organised Labour to hold on to their faith should government fails to meet their demands.

Emmanuel Wilson stated that, Ghanaians are struggling to understand the lack of response since the protests against galamsey in the country for the past two weeks.

Speaking in an interview with Ohene Kinnah on Plan B FM’s ‘Ebaanosen’ show on Monday, October 7 2024, Emmanuel expressed that, he will be very much disappointed if if Organised Labour call off their nationwide strike which  commences on Thursday, October 10 2024 after the meeting with government.

“Crusaders against corruption and all Ghanaians are behind your nationwide strike, don’t it off should the government fails to meet all your demands on galamsey” he noted.

“I will be very much disappointed in Organised Labour should they call off the strike” he added.
