A Communications Team Member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ashaiman Constituency of the Greater Accra Region, Samuel Aborbi, popularly known as Aban, has called on President John Mahama to consider Azumah Tebon, Esq., as the new Director-General of the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA).
Samuel Aborbi made the appeal during an interview with Kofi Sekyi on Plan B FM’s Nkosuo Nsem.
He asserted that Azumah Tebon has vast experience in the sector, which would help the president restructure it to the admiration of Ghanaians.
He added that appointing Azumah Tebon would help end corruption and underperformance at the country’s ports.
However, he warned that party foot soldiers might take the law into their own hands to replace any appointee if the president refuses to heed their demand.
Aban also called on the president to involve party communicators in his administration.
