A Communications Team Member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ashaiman Constituency of the Greater Accra Region, Samuel Aborbi, popularly known as Aban, has expressed disappointment in the leadership of the NDC MPs on the Appointments Committee of Parliament.
He said the Chairman of the Committee, Bernard Ahiafor, the NDC Member of Parliament representing the people of Akatsi South in the Volta Region, has allowed himself to be bullied by Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin.
Speaking on Plan B FM’s Nkosuo Nsem, Aban called on the leadership of the NDC in Parliament, especially the Appointments Committee, to step up their game.
He also urged President Mahama to replace Bernard Ahiafor as chairman of the committee if he fails to assert his authority and allows Afenyo-Markin to dictate proceedings.
