On a recent episode of “Nyansapɔ Fie” on Plan B FM, host Nana Asabea engaged in a thought-provoking discussion with Lady Reverend Charlotte Hanson, Head of Public Affairs Unit at the Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations. Lady Reverend Hanson shared her insights on diabolical people, emphasising that it takes a higher power’s guidance to understand the actions of those who seek to harm others.
According to her, diabolical people are intelligent and cunning, often using their abilities to disrupt peace and cause chaos. Reverend Hanson emphasised that diabolical individuals are relentless in their pursuit of harmful agendas and can only be identified through a higher power’s guidance.
She also highlighted that some individuals in positions of power and influence may fall into this category, taking pleasure in causing pain and manipulating others.
Finally, she advised that “the world must be vigilant and mindful of those who have ulterior motives in jeopardising them through diabolical means”.
Additionally, Prophet Ebenezer Dunamis, Head Pastor of Army of God Revival Centre, described diabolical people as confident tricksters who lack empathy, remorse, and regret. According to him, they are exploitative and destructive, always feeling justified in their actions.
He further revealed that diabolical individuals are skilled at planning and executing harmful deeds, and that even those who practice witchcraft and wizardry can be classified as diabolical.
Prophet Dunamis also emphasised that the House of God is a spiritual clinic that welcomes individuals with various spiritual afflictions, and therefore, it’s not surprising to find diabolical individuals within the congregation.
He cautioned that people should not be surprised or judgemental, but rather, focus on spiritual growth and discernment to navigate these challenges.
Lady Marilyn Abeka-Daniels, an adjunct lecturer at the University of Media Arts and Communication, noted that God grants humans control over all things. However, even when humans fall short of God’s glory, the spirit of control remains, and they often seek to exhibit it in various contexts.
She observed that when one is not controlled by God’s spirit, it can lead to diabolical behaviour. “Such individuals come to steal, kill, and destroy. They exhibit a high level of manipulation, using their God-given understanding for diabolical means,” she added.
Lady Marilyn Abeka-Daniels cautioned that people must be wary of such individuals, as they come in many forms, including those seeking revenge.
