Ghanaians need an experience driver not a mate – Samuel Aborbi

A Communication team member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for Kpone-Katamanso Constituency, Mr. Samuel Aborbi affectionately called ‘Aban) has said that Ghanaians need an experience driver to steer the affairs of the country not a mere mate.

In a panel discussion on Plan B Fm’s ‘Nkosuonsem’ show hosted by Obidehyie Kofi Sekyi on Thursday, 1st August 2024, Mr. Aborbi emphatically stated that they (NDC) as party are fully prepared and they will win election 2024 at the polling station.

“NDC will not tolerate any form of intimidation from the incumbent government. I’m assuring Ghanaians that, NDC will not go to court to challenge electoral results nowadays like it happened in 2020” he stated.

Mr. Aborbi emphasised that, the NPP party and its Flagbearer are confused and short of ideas.

This came after the National Security Minister, Hon. Albert Kan Dapaah has warned of a looming threat of electoral violence as the country prepares for 2024 general elections.

In his address at the Ghana Catholic Bishops Conference held under the theme ‘SPI National forum as social cohesion, security and peaceful elections’ in Accra, Hon. Kan Dapaah emphasised the importance of maintaining peace and stability during the electoral process, highlighting past instances where such violence has torn the nation apart.
