Forgiveness, a key to unlocking Allah’s rewards – Muslim Leader

Forgiveness, a key to unlocking Allah’s rewards – Muslim Leader

Muhammad Hussain Acquah, Head of T.I. Ahmadiyya Basic School in Tema and National Ansarullah Preaching Secretary of Ghana, has urged the public to prioritize forgiveness and reconciliation to receive divine rewards.

In a recent interview with host Nana Asabea on Plan B FM’s family, lifestyle and relationship show ”Nyansapɔ Fie,” Acquah stressed that forgiveness is a crucial step towards receiving Allah’s blessings.

He encouraged listeners to make amends and forgive others to experience an increase in guidance from the Almighty.

Citing the Holy Qur’an (Chapter 42:41), Acquah emphasized the importance of pardoning others to gain guidance from Allah.

”And cover not truth with falsehood nor concede the truth while you know (Qur’an 2:43). People might want forgiveness from the weight of grudges and until they are forgiven, cannot be set free hence the need to forgive others,” he said.

”Whoever that holds grudges always brings up past conflicts and pledges not to forgive even if God descends from Heaven. Such fellow could be described as being selfish,” he added.

Furthermore, Mallam Acquah quoted how Prophet Muhammad (SAW) described Mahātmā
Gandhi saying his attitude led him to win hearts of men with kindness, love, peace, forgiveness and justice and should be enumerated by all.

He disclosed that ”hurt feelings, betrayals, unmet expectations, poor conflict resolutions, are some reasons partners hold grudges against their partners.”
In conclusion, Muhammad Hussain Acquah urged all to prioritize forgiveness and reconciliation in their personal and professional lives, letting go of grudges and hurt feelings to receive divine rewards and guidance from Allah.

”By doing so,” he said ”we can build stronger relationship, achieve personal growth and create a more harmonious society.”
