A political analyst who doubles as a financial engineer Mr. Alex Emmanuel Nti has stated that Nana Addo and NPP should forget about the 2024 elections if things are not turned around as Ghanaians expected from him by June 2024.

Speaking on Plan B FM’s morning show NKOSUONSEM, hosted by Obidehye Kofi Sekyi, he said the current economic hardship in the country is one of the factors that has contributed to the disappointment in Nana Addo’s government.

He further stated that, Nana Addo is dependent on the IMF bailout but the truth is that it has never helped reduce the hardships in the country.

“Also failure of Nana Addo to fight corruption as he promised can also have great consequences” he added

Meanwhile, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is confident that he will leave Ghana in better shape before handing over in 2025.

President Akufo-Addo says he will build a prosperous country and improve the living conditions of all before his tenure ends.

Speaking at the annual Jubilee House thThanksgivingervice in Accra on Tuesday, the President said Ghana would see growth and prosperity this year.

“At the end of my time in office, as it nears, or be it with one year to go, I am still optimistic and determined, with the support of the Ghanaian people and the guidance of the Almighty God, I am confident that we will achieve our goal of creating a progressive and prosperous Ghana for all.”

It is a mission that requires not only political understanding but also heavenly inspiration and grace,” he stated.

Meanwhile, President Akufo-Addo has urged Ghanaians and all relevant stakeholders to work together to ensure the upcoming 2024 elections are fair and transparent.

The president said the foundation of functional democracies around the world is grounded in viable elections, which must be the priority of all citizens as we approach the general elections in December.
