Renowned speaker and Creative Director of Kess Millinery and Beads, Lady Elizabeth Kesewaa Nortey, has revealed that a lack of intrinsic reward leads to boredom and that people must strive for newness.
In an interview on Plan B FM’s Nyansapɔ Fie show with host Nana Asabea, she cited lack of emotional excitement and overworking oneself, especially with one thing repeatedly, amongst others, as leading to boredom.
“However, if people strive for newness and attain new levels in life, they might overcome boredom,” she disclosed.
On his side, Rev. Kusi-Boadum Kwame, Head Pastor of Graceway Fountain Ministries, revealed that humans were made for change and are therefore excited whenever they see change, which the devil tries to hinder in order to gain control.
“The joy of our Lord is our strength, and therefore, without it, boredom – the canker that the devil uses to steal, kill and destroy – sets in. We should strive for growth and diversity,” he added.
