Engage building experts when you want to build your house – public told
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Mr. Joseph Nana Supi Ocran a project engineer has said building your own house is an exciting process, but it can also be stressful for first-timers if you do not consult or engage professionals for good work done.

Mr Ocran in an interview with Nana Yaw Abrampa on Plan B FM morning show NKOSUONSEM, stated that it is important to engage a qualified professional before you take the first steps.

He said there are a lot of things to consider when building a house, and removing some of the uncertainty can help you have a smoother experience,

“Things you need to keep in mind when building a house with confidence is to choose the right builder (Professional) for your house construction. Choosing the right builder will come down to several factors, such as your preferred home designs, the area you’re building in, types of materials, the required iron rods, cement and others that will be needed in building”

He emphasized that frequent or regular inspection of the ongoing building is key to noticing every shoddy work.

He encouraged all that when you’re researching builders, pay close attention to their reputations and look for some of the houses they’ve built in the past to see if they match your needs and expectations.
