A political analyst and a financial engineer, Alex Emmanuel has stated that Ghana’s apparent failure to enforce laws has made corruption a low-risk offence.

According to him, laws must be enforced to sanction corruption offences and retrieve stolen resources.

Speaking to Ohene Kinnah on Plan B FM’s ‘Ebaanosen’ Mr. Alex Nti said that laws must be applied fairly and equally. People, whether they are at the top or bottom, should know that they are not above the law.

“When corrupt people exposed are prosecuted, when the prosecution runs from start to finish and when recommendations are followed through, corruption can be reduced. We need to enforce laws on corruption and corrupt practices to reduce it drastically. If not, we can’t win the fight against corruption” he remarked

He also called for a nationalistic attitude and voting for the radical right to enable us root out corruption in the country.

“We need a president who’s not too partisan and dedicated leaders to enable us fight corruption to the bearers minimum” he added
