Dr. Newman criticises NDC over demolitions, unfulfilled 24-hour economy promise

Dr. Newman criticises NDC over demolitions, unfulfilled 24-hour economy promise

Dr. Newman, an NPP Communications Officer, has criticised the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government, accusing it of failing to deliver on its promises to Ghanaians.

Speaking on Plan B FM’s EBAANOSEN show, hosted by Ohene Kinnah, he questioned the rationale behind the government’s decision to demolish certain structures.

He further questioned how people affected by the demolitions would earn a living and pay taxes to support the government’s development projects if their sources of livelihood were taken away.

Dr. Newman also accused the NDC government of failing to fulfil its 24-hour economy promise, which he said was yet to be implemented as expected.

Comparing the two political parties, he praised the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for introducing the Free Senior High School (Free SHS) policy, arguing that the programme continues to benefit people across the country.

He described the NDC as corrupt and challenged the government to demonstrate its achievements since assuming office, insisting that it had little to show for its time in power.
